STRUCTURED CRITERIA

Structured Criteria

“Facts not Opinion” -Home Inventories uses a unique measurement against structured criteria that removes opinion and replaces it with unequivocal facts; this is achieved by strictly controlled assessment criteria for both the content and condition of the property. Accuracy and consistency are key to an unequivocal report and the use of “Compulsory Fields” of text and photography are required to be completed before the On-line entry is accepted and the user can move to the next field. Training is the critical ingredient to implementation of this proven method. Each aspect of a room or area is assessed against the relevant criteria required, providing the most accurate comprehensive and detailed recorded evidence available.

Structured Condition Criteria is used to measure all aspects of the property:

•  Cleaning

•  Content & furnishings

•  Decoration

•  Flooring & carpets

•  Kitchens & bathrooms

•  Gardens & outbuildings

The common use of complex and ambiguous abbreviations is avoided as these are time consuming and require interpretation. Clarity and accuracy is provided and the evidence measured against the structured criteria is unequivocal.
